NSTSE stands for National-level Science Talent Search Examination. It is a scientifically designed, skill-based assessment developed in India for Indian schools, after a detailed study of the syllabi of the Central and various State Boards.
NEET i.e. National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination is a compulsory entrance exam for admission in medical courses in India like MBBS, BDS, BHMS etc. whereas JEE i.e. Joint Entrance Examination is a compulsory entrance exam for admission in top engineering colleges in India like IIT, NIT, IIIT etc.
PRMO is the Pre-Regional Mathematical Olympiad, also known as the first-level qualifier towards representing India at World Championship Mathematics Competition for High School students conducted by International Mathematical Olympiad in various countries. GREEN Olympiad is being organized annually by TERI since 1999. This is an environment examination that tests environment consciousness and analytical skills of students. It encourages schools as well as students (individual) to register for the examination and be the part of this unique environment initiative.
The Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) is a high school mathematics competition held annually in India since 1989. National wide Education and Scholarship Test is commonly known as NEST is specially designed for students’ choice, skills, and interest and is essential at this stage of their education. NEST provides a scholarship for bonafide students of science, engineering, and medical courses on the basis of the merit only.

National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS) is conducted by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT). It aims to find and nurture young students who have high aptitude in Science. This IAPT organized exam is the entry test for International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO).
The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) is an educational foundation and a nonprofit organization, established in 1999, based in New Delhi, India which promotes science, mathematics, general knowledge, introductory computer education and English language skills among school children in India and many other countries through various Olympiads.
