District Level Cricket Competitions

After hosting zonal games for the year 2023-24, OPBMS got the opportunity to host district level sports competitions which included District Level Cricket Under 14, 17, 19 Boys/Girls Competitions.The event was held at the RIMT sports complex from October 03 to 0,2023. Principal Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma started these competitions and boosted the morale of the children. On this occasion, Sports Coordinator Gaganpreet Singh, DPE Faror supervised the event.
In the boys’ category, Mandi Gobindgarh zone teams were victorious in all three categories. The U- 14, U-17, U-19 boys teams included 16 students of Om Prakash Bansal Modern School.
U- 14 and U-17 boys, team of Mandi Gobindgarh won the first position by defeating Khamano Zone. Similarly, in Under 19 boys, the team of Mandi Gobindgarh Zone defeated Fatehgarh Sahib Zone and secured first position in the district. On this occasion, District Coordinator and Department Head Gaganpreet Singh, Lecturer Ranjit Singh, DP Venus Kaushal congratulated the children on their victory.
