RUN FOR HEALTH 2024
“I don’t run to add days to my life, I run to add life to my days.”
To promote a healthy lifestyle and raise fitness awareness, the second edition of the mega event “Run For Health” was successfully organised by the school on February 11,2024. The event was flagged off by the Principal, Ms.Sangeeta Sharma from Harbanspura. The bystanders and the residents of the village witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 400 people. A distance of 5 km was covered in this run. People of varied age groups ranging from the youngest participant of 5 years to 70 years old took part in this mega event.It was a moment of delight to watch youngsters running along with their parents who proved themselves as excellent examples by being their role models.

The zeal and enthusiasm encouraged the participants to complete the entire race. Students were gripped with a feeling of anxiety and nervousness. Although some runners achieved triumph yet others were still satisfied with their attempt to complete the entire marathon. At the end, all the 78 winners were felicitated with medals under eight categories in the community centre, Harbanspura by the school Principal, Sangeeta Sharma in the presence of the Sports department headed by Mr. Gaganpreet Singh. The resounding message resonated across all age groups, emphasizing the crucial need to prioritize one’s health. This resulted in the resounding success of the event, undoubtedly igniting a spark of inspiration within every participant to actively monitor their well-being and adopt a healthier lifestyle.
